Lancaster Arts Hotel, Lancaster
$500,000 loan
ONLY A PERSONAL STAY CAN ALLOW ONE TO FULLY GRASP THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE OF THIS BOUTIQUE HOTEL.
From the individually designed rooms to the art gallery featuring local artists, the Lancaster Arts Hotel is the premiere destination for those visiting the County. In keeping with the vision of Lancaster City, the owners of this hotel restored a 19th century, five-story tobacco warehouse. A loan from Community First Fund in 2006 was used to purchase furniture, fixtures and equipment, many of these hand-made in Lancaster County. In addition to retrofitting a historic structure, this project created over 50 jobs for local residents.
Reservation packages, tailored to all sorts of visitors, ensure that guests thoroughly enjoy their stay in Lancaster. From Brewmaster to At The Fulton Theatre, guests can experience other sides of the city during their visit, whether tasting local microbrews or attending one of the finest theatres in the northeast. Visitors can also dine at John J. Jeffries, an on-site restaurant that features an all-organic fare, with an expansive selection of locally grown ingredients.
